Especially the nitty-gritty stuff that wouldn't feature on the homepage of BBC-South Asia etc. This article series does a great job in keeping us astride with that kind of stuff while at the same time making us appreciate the element of ridiculous that is inherent in Indian News stories. It's like an equivalent to getting all your US news from The Daily Show or The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Since a lot of us are away from India, it is hard for us to follow or keep up with news relating to India. Especially the nitty-gritty stuff that wouldn’t feature on the homepage of BBC-South Asia etc.

This article series does a great job in keeping us astride with that kind of stuff while at the same time making us appreciate the element of ridiculous that is inherent in Indian News stories.

I am not kidding. Some analysts claim she could have eradicated the state's poverty with the hundreds of crores of rupees she has spent on temporarily immortalizing herself. And seriously, Rakhi's reality show would be more at home on Comedy Central. Brilliant news report. Easily your best one yet, Mr.Shekar!
