By admin 8 March 2010 117 views One Comment

Topic: Cultural preservation is more vital to success in the United States than social integration.

Debate Begins 4 pm

With the following format:

MC Opening Statement (3 minutes)
- Includes the statement of the topic and brief points of discussion.
- Statement of rules
- Statement of theme and values of debate
- Introduction of judges and debaters.

Each team will receive 4 minutes of prep time that can be taken before their speeches but not before crossfire.

Crossfire should be spent in reference to speeches immediately prior to that, or to major topics in the debate. No reference can be made of the other speaker’s specific evidence/detailed topics.

Judges’ questions should be answered as completely as possible; judges are asked to explain and critique each team after the debate and provide reasoning for their decision. The teams will receive four minutes of prep time before the decision is reached.

Food will be provided after the debate.

By submitting this form, your organization guarantees a prepared representative in the Nazar debate on April 10th, 2010.
